Ok did you miss me? This
could go down as the slowest weight-loss in history. Half a pound off last week and one and a half
pounds on this week. I wish I could put
out for the sympathy vote and say that I have no idea how I gained this week
but I was thankful it was only one and a half pounds. Our recycling box tells the story and no, we
didn’t have a wine tasting. So guess
what I am doing to rectify this whole yoyo scenario? No alcohol all week… (Oh god it even hurts to
say it) and the introduction of the slimming world high fibre scan bran crisp
breads. Yep should be a week for the
family to keep their heads below the parapet as mummy may be a little grumpy
and also possibly a little bit windy. And as for all of my wonderful friends
and family who cannot remember the last time that they went without an
alcoholic drink for a week…and YOU know who you are...please support me and do
not be offended if I am out of communication circles for a week. It could prove safer for everybody.
Oh, before I forget, huge apologies again for the rubbish UK
weather, it is all my fault. I stupidly
went out last week and bought two new sun loungers. Both are still in the boot of my car in their
protective cellophane. A little bit
scared now to bring them out in case it starts snowing.
More excitement this week (as previously mentioned on Facebook) ….I
flashed a BT engineer from my bedroom window.
He was up the telegraph pole as you look directly out the front of my
bedroom window and I didn’t notice him at all until I disrobed. Of course we have blinds up but they were
open slightly and the bedroom light was on which gave us a perfect view of each other. God bless him at least he didn’t fall. Hope
he isn’t too traumatised. Just thinking about it….maybe I should try a little bit harder next time and make more of an effort. Another
challenge for the bucket list me thinks for when the next stone is gone. Oh yes…. I could install a dancing pole in
the bedroom and be really ready next time with ribbons in my hair and makeup
done, dressed in a new sequin leotard, tassels in place and a rose between my
teeth. Oh yes Baldrick….I have a cunning
plan…. `Hello… Is that British Telecom? I would like to report a fault please…’
So talking of the bucket list, here is a reminder of the ever
changing board of challenges and rewards:

The bike ride is looming and I am getting slightly worried. Gloria and I went out for a training ride
with one of my girlfriends and spent almost the entire ride looking at her
bottom. A lovely bottom she has too but none
the less would have preferred to talk to her face or be in front for at least part of the
ride.
And to finish this week my little bloggers and bloggettes, my
guilty pleasure and confession this week is that I have been watching my
Champion the Wonder Horse DVD box set. Yep, nobody but nobody understands me.
So batten down the hatches, small children run for the hills as I begin my alcohol free week...thirty five and a half pounds of fat extracted. Thirty four and a half pounds and counting. Sx
